YEC was established under the law of the Palestinian Civil Authorities in the year 2005 through a youth initiative to response to the needs of the Palestinian society. 

In partnership with Oxfam, YEC  will be implementing " Meeting the humanitarian needs of conflict affected vulnerable groups in Gaza " Project funded by ECHO. 

 

Position title: Project Coordinator-Gaza .

Project Duration: 10 months   

 

Tasks and responsibilities: 

 

-Technical supervision, follow up and implementation of project's activities.

-Preparation of detailed and effective project action plans.

-Supervision of technical and field staff involved in the project. 

-Close Follow up on the implementation of the different components of the project.

-Ensure all project activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations.

-Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper activities implementation on the ground.

-Prepare periodical reports as requested by YEC and donor in consultation with the Program Manager. 

-Assist the finance department in preparing periodic financial documents and reports

- To insure documentation of all project activities .

-Perform any other tasks required by manager. 

- Reporting to: Program Manager. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

-At least a Bachelor degree from recognized university in public health or related fields.

-Minimum two years of professional experience in project coordination, preferably with experience in working with NGO's.

-Excellent networking and coordination skills.

-Fluency in both English & Arabic languages including both written and verbal communication skills.

-Excellent reporting skills in both English & Arabic.

-Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

-Advanced computer literacy.

-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.

-Ability to start working immediately.
