Israeli Army Announces Death of Soldier in Northern Gaza

The Israeli army announced on Sunday, June 29, 2025, the death of a soldier during combat operations in the northern Gaza Strip.
In an official statement, the army said:
"Sergeant Yisrael Natan Rosenfeld (20), a combat engineer with the 601st Engineering Battalion of the 401st Brigade, was killed during clashes in northern Gaza."
This brings the total number of Israeli military fatalities announced since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, to 880.
