Three Police Officers Killed in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Gaza

The Gaza Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday evening, June 26, 2025, that three police officers and two other civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a press statement received by Sawa News Agency, the ministry said:
"A police unit was targeted by Israeli warplanes while chasing a group of thieves and collaborators with the occupation this evening in the Asdaa area, west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. The attack resulted in the deaths of three police officers and two other civilians."
The statement added: "The police and security apparatus in the Gaza Strip continues to carry out its duty to serve our people, despite the systematic targeting it faces from the Israeli occupation through daily bombings and killings. These attacks will not weaken our determination, nor will they succeed in breaking our will."
